It is designed for investors, traders, and researchers who want a clearer view of holdings, cost basis, gain/loss, and an overall portfolio summary.
How is data imported?
The approved MVP imports supported CSV transaction files.
Does it connect directly to brokers or exchanges?
No. The MVP does not include broker or exchange connections.
Does it synchronize automatically?
No. Portfolio data is generated from manually imported CSV files.
Can it place trades?
No. Portfolio Truth does not include trading or order execution.
Do I need an online account?
No. The approved MVP is a local Windows application and does not require a SaaS account.
Does it include recovery or accumulation analytics?
Those capabilities should not be represented unless they are confirmed in the release build.
Can I join the beta?
Yes. Private beta applications are currently being accepted.
Will there be paid versions?
Commercial editions are planned after beta. Pricing has not been announced.
